I’m Charlie - a mum, wife, and small business owner who truly understands the pressure of juggling it all. That’s why I’m passionate about helping other small business owners stay on top of their tasks, stay organised, and feel supported. Whether it’s admin, marketing, or getting your website just right, I’m here to make your day-to-day easier so you can focus on what matters most.
I’ve had a wonderfully varied career across many sectors, working in both employed and self-employed roles, which has given me a broad skillset and deep understanding of what it takes to run a business.
After leaving education, I trained as a water sports instructor and later qualified as a Yacht master - a role that allowed me to travel the world doing what I loved. But as exciting as sailing the seven seas was, it wasn’t a forever job. I eventually returned home to manage our family-run hotel, where I spent eight years overseeing day-to-day operations including cooking, administration, staff management, food ordering, and handling bookings.
Looking for a new direction, I retrained as a counsellor - a path inspired by my belief that when we prioritise mental health, everything else starts to fall into place. I went on to specialise in supporting people with relationship challenges, domestic abuse recovery, behavioural change programmes, and stress management - all skills I still draw on in my work and life today.
After welcoming our second child in 2023, I stepped back from full-time counselling and focused on supporting my husband to run our technical solutions company, while also managing our family travel agency, which I co-own with my Mum and Brother.
My varied background has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the value of genuine human connection - all of which I bring into every project I take on.
In running our own small family businesses, I’ve learned the hard way how to wear many hats - from building websites and buying domain names to figuring out SEO, understanding VAT, hunting down receipts, navigating QuickBooks, setting up online booking platforms, and managing staff and HR responsibilities. Trust me when I say - I’ve been there!
Now, as a mum of two with a busy household to run, I took a step back to reflect on my next chapter. That’s when it clicked - why not become the person every small business owner needs from time to time? Someone to take care of the tasks that feel overwhelming, so they can get back to doing what they love.
By offering flexible support on an hourly basis, I help small business owners get the assistance they need - when they need it - without the commitment or cost of hiring permanent staff. It’s support that works around your schedule, and mine.
